Auschwitz survivor Dr. Edith E. Eger program

Holocaust survivor, from the camp at Auschwitz, Dr. Edith E. Eger spoke with Whitehouse Junior High students as part of a Whitehouse ISD Education Foundation grant. After hearing her speak about her experience at the concentration camp and how she's been able to overcome, students were allowed to ask Dr. Eger questions before presenting her with a resolution written in her honor. The resolution passed in Smith County Commissioners Court making May 25th, 2017 Dr. Edith E. Eger Day!
