Biography

I have an M.A. in English from Angelo State University, earned my teaching certificate at LeTourneau University, and have been teaching for 10 years: 2 at the college level and 8 at the high school level.  I am currently a member of 2 professional organizations: the National Council of Teachers of English, and the Conference on College Composition and Communication.

My goal, especially in AP/TJC classes, is to prepare students to not only succeed but thrive in college courses; this is done partly through critical reading, and partly through instruction of the recursive writing process, which is, in the end, the logical thinking process.
