About me!

I am the Theatre Arts Teacher here at Whitehouse Junior High. I teach Advance Theatre, Theatre Arts, and Technical Theatre. This is my fifth year of teaching. I have been around educators my entire life. I come from a family of Teachers and Coaches. I graduated from Texas State University-San Marcos with a Bachelors' of Fine Arts in Theatre-Performance and Production. My overall goal for the students is to gain appreciation for Theatre.

UIL One Act Play

Great job to the student who participated in the UIL One Act Play Competition this past Saturday. We took home 5 individual awards. Berri Harris received an All-Star Cast Member award, Tristan Westmoreland, Lindsey Jones, & Alyssa Reyes each receive an Honorable Mention award, and Elizabeth Smith received a Best Tech Crew Member award.

The Little Mermaid

The Advance Theatre Students will perform the adapted version of Hans Christian Andersen by Sandra Fenichel Asher on Friday May 15 in the WHS Auditorium at 6pm. Free Admission!
