2009-2010 Scholarship Application

The 2009 - 2010 Scholarship Application for Tyler Junior College is now available at the following web address

www.tjc.edu/scholarship

Please discard any applications that you may still have from last year.  We have made a few changes to the new application as follows:

1) All applications must be type-written.  We will no longer accept hand-written applications.  The application is available in Adobe Acrobat fillable form on the website.

2) We are no longer requiring a personal statement / essay from the student.  Instead, we have incorporated short-answer questions on the application.

3) We are no longer requiring a letter of recommendation.

A complete scholarship application from your high school seniors will include
     •  Completed and signed Application Form
     •  Sealed Counselor’s Verification Form
     •  Official high school transcript

The application deadline is March 1, 2009.
