Classroom Rules

	Walk in quietly and sit at your assigned seat.
	Listen and follow the directions the first time.
	Raise your hand for permission.
	Speak quietly and politely when given permission.
	Keep your hands, feet and objects to yourself.
	Respect the rights and property of others and the school's.
	Be prompt and prepared for class.
	Always give your best.

If You Choose to Break a Rule

First Time: Sign the discipline log and take a behavior note home to be signed by parent and returned. (If not returned, parent will be called.)

Second Time: Sign the discipline log, take a behavior note home to be signed by parents and returned, and have classroom isolation. (If not returned, parent will be called.)

Third Time: Sign the discipline log, take a behavior note home to be signed by parents, and visit with Mr. Williams or Mr. Splinter in the office about behavior.

Reasons You Would Go Straight to the Office

v Defiance to Adults (talking back, refusing request, lying)

v Physical Fighting (including spitting on someone)

v Destruction or Vandalism

v Obscene Language

v Disrupting Class

v Threats
