Brown Hero Awards
Each year at Brown Elementary we award 5 students with the Brown Hero Award. These students go above and beyond what is expected of them academically, socially, and have outstanding character. The staff chooses 2 fifth graders, 1 fourth grader, 1 third grader, and 1 second grader.

Congratulations to all of these AMAZING students!

Brown’s Perfect Attendance Looney Olympics
There were 39 students at Brown Elementary that came every day to school receiving the Perfect Attendance award. They were treated to a fun afternoon of Looney Olympics. Pastor Mike and Kathy Davis from Grace Chapel Assembly of God Church came to the school and set up exciting relays for the student to participate in. The students participated in relay races using toilet paper, balloon, and a super relay using corn cobs and baby bottles! They had an awesome time and we thank Grace Chapel for volunteering their time for our students.

Brown Elementary Bully Prevention Week
Our first Bully Prevention Week was a huge success! The week was packed with fun and very helpful to all our students in helping them understand how to handle bullying. They received Band Against Bully bracelets, stickers, Pledge Against Bullying water bottles, watched a bully video, signed a huge banner, talked with Joe Terrell from KLTV, had Whitehouse Police office Jason Westbrook visit, and had an amazing Dance Your Bully Off Contest! Thanks to the Brown NEHS students for sponsoring this week and we hope to continue this in the future!
