MARATHON CATS RUNNING CLUB
Never doubt, our Brown Elementary Wildcats are "Small BUT Mighty"! During our recent Marathon Cats Running Club program, Brown students logged a total of 3678.6 miles. That’s like running to California and back! Marathon Cats is an 8-week running program whereby our students run laps around our field to increase their cardiovascular fitness and earn awards. A trophy, pedometer, and certificate were awarded to each of our high milers in each grade level. Congratulations to all our student award recipients and also to June Pendergrass, our high miler teacher! Way to go Brown Students!

Activities included cookie walk, Coke ring toss, Hawaiian hula hoop contest, snow cones, toilet paper toss, prime duck pond, and a silly summer picture booth. It was a great way to end an awesome year for the 5th graders at Higgins Elementary. Thanks for all who helped make this such a success.
