High School student artwork chosen for Youth Art Month Celebration Exhibit

Congratulations High School student Meagan Killian!

Meagan's artwork has been chosen for the second year in a row to be displayed at Youth Art Month Celebration Exhibit in Austin.

Each teacher is asked to send in artwork to be considered for the show. If selected, the Governor and/or his wife will go through the show and pick 10-12 pieces to hang in the capitol. The students are draped at the celebration with a medal that signifies them as Texas State Artists.

Meagan also won the Congressional Art Competition and will be honored in DC this summer.
