Immunization Clinic for Seniors


All Texas colleges and universities require a meningitis booster. Whitehouse High School is hosting a clinic will allow students to get their booster taken care of during graduation rehearsal, avoiding the back to school rush in August.

One-Act Play advances to Area

Congratulations One-Act Play! They've advanced from Bi-District to Area!

Our Play, "Dancing at Lughnasa," by Brian Fiel advanced to Area. The Area meet will be at University High School in Waco on Wednesday, March 28th.

In addition to advancing:

Tristan Westmoreland was awarded an All-Star cast award.
Elizabeth Campbell and Tatum Carver-Dews both received Honorable Mention All-Star Cast.
Savannah Else received Outstanding Tech award for lights.

This is the second year in a row we have advanced to the Area meet.

Senior Graduation Regalia Distribution

Josten's will be on campus Friday, April 27th during Power Hour to distribute Senior Graduation Regalia including cap and gown orders. Students must clear all outstanding fees and fines to receive order (lost textbooks, library, cafeteria, etc.).

Tickets to Prom will be sold April 18th-20th during Power Hour. Tickets cost $25.00 each. Prom will be held Saturday, April 21st at The Cascades.

Wildcat Theatre One Act Play performance

Wildcat Theatre presents the award winning performance of "Dancing in Lughnasa". This show advanced to Regional competition and placed among the top 20 5A shows in Texas. Performance will be held Thursday, April 19th at 7:00 PM in the high school auditorium. Admission is free, but donations will be graciously accepted.

Congratulations Women's Powerlifting

On Friday, March 16th, Whitehouse Powerlifting took on the Women’s State Powerlifting Meet in Waco.

2017 State Qualifier, Macy Smith and new competitor Hien Tran, competed at this year’s meet.

Both ladies did a great job competing against the best lifters in the state. Hien Tran competed in the 97lb weight class. She lifted a new PR in Squat of 170 LBs and on Deadlift of 210lbs. Hien lifted a total of 460 LBs beating her total PR by 25 lbs.

Macy Smith competed in the 123lb weight class. Macy was able to PR in all three lifts: squat, bench, and deadlift. She successfully lifted 250 LBs on Squat, 160 LBs on Bench, and 300 LBs on Deadlift totaling a staggering 710 LBs - 45 LBs more than her Regional total just two weeks before.

Congratulations to both of these ladies for their accomplishment and having a great season!

Whitehouse Powerlifting also had two ladies were elected to the Academic All State Elite Team, Macy Smith and Favour Thomas.

Congratulations One-Act Play!

On Thursday, March 8th, Whitehouse competed in Ennis at the One Act Play contest.
Our entry: "Dancing at Lughnasa" advanced to Bi-district!
It will be held at University High School in Waco on March 22nd.

Addtionally, Gordon Holmes and Tristan Westmoreland received All Star Cast awards. Delilah Whitehouse received Honorable Mention All Star Cast.

Abby Clarida, Eric Spaude, Alex Becraft, Savanah Else and Cyrus Mahdavi were chosen as Best Crew of the competiton
Abby Clarida was chosen as Outstanding Whitehouse Techie.
