The Whitehouse High School football team advanced to the Area Round of the UIL state playoffs by beating Katy Paetow. The Wildcats will play Barbers Hill at 7:30 PM, Friday, November 22nd at NRG Stadium.
In light of the travel time needed to arrive safely at the game and out of consideration to our community as a whole, Whitehouse ISD will have early release at 1pm Friday, November 22nd. Buses will run their regular routes at that time.
All WISD campuses will be closed Monday, November 25, 2019 through Friday, November 29, 2019 for the Thanksgiving holiday.
Students and staff will return to school Monday, December 2, 2019.

There will be no school for students on Friday, October 18th and Monday, October 21st. WISD staff will be on campuses for Staff Development. Students will return to school on Tuesday, October 22nd.

Parents and Students, please do not order food deliveries from any third party delivery services to be delivered to students to the campus. This includes, but is not limited to, pizza deliveries, delivery services such as Waitr, Doordash and Favor Delivery. If a parent or guardian is on campus to receive the delivery, it will be accepted. No deliveries may be made directly to a student.
The WHS Swim Team is raising money for an inaugural Breast Stroke for the Cure lap-a-thon. For every dollar raised, the team will swim a 25 breast stroke on October 12 at our home pool, located at 11594 TX-248 Spur, Tyler.
Students may donate money towards the cure in honor of their favorite principal during Power Hour, the principal with the most money raised will swim alongside the swim team.
T-shirts are available for purchase to support the Breast Stroke For the Cure event. All t-shirt proceeds will be included in the funds to be donated to the Ross Breast Center.
