Any student that wishes to join must subscribe to my Remind for Lego Robotics. If they can’t then their parent can subscribe in their place. This can be done by going to http://rmd.at/wjhsbots or texting the code: @wjhsbots to 81010. If a student, or their parent, hasn’t subscribed by our third meeting they will be removed from the group.

What is Lego Robotics?

WJHS Robotics is an extracurricular, student centered, learning lab where students learn to program and build robots out of Legos.

When do you meet?

Meetings are every Wednesday after school in the BL3 Computer Lab, across from the North Office, from 3:10 until 4pm. Attendance on Wednesdays is mandatory. The Lab will also be open on Thursday for students to have more time to program and build if they need to. Any student that misses 3 Wednesdays in a row will be removed from the group.

How do kids participate?

Just ask Mr Goodson for the signup sheet. Due to the number of students that want to join each students must work with at least one other person. Each group has a maximum of 4 people total. When you sign up you’ll be given a number and that is the kit that you’ll use.

How much does it cost?

Nothing. We raise money by selling 3D prints from the school’s 3D printer.

Is there anything I can do to help?

Yes! We're looking for donations of Legos.

I've got more questions.  Who can I ask?
