Whitehouse Independent School District

Forrest, Katherine » Home

My name is Katherine Forrest. This is my 12th year to teach, and I have taught all twelve of those years here in the Whitehouse! I am a Special Education teacher focusing on resource and inclusion services. I teach math, reading, and language arts to students in grades 3-5, and I absolutely love it!
I was born and raised in a small town a lot like Whitehouse named Atlanta, Texas, where I graduated in 2002. Once I graduated, I moved to Tyler to go to school, and I have made Tyler/Whitehouse my home since then.
I graduated from The University of Texas in Tyler in 2006 with a degree in All Level Special Education with a secondary in reading, and I got hired in Whitehouse that same year! I love working with students with special needs, and I am blessed to work in such a wonderful school district.
I have been married to my husband, Jason, since 2006. We have three beautiful children together, and two spoiled dogs named Sadie and Sammy!
If you ever have any questions or concerns regarding a student I am servicing, please do not hesitate to contact me! You can find all of my contact information below. Go Wildcats!
