I am a graduate of Tyler Junior College and the University of Texas at Tyler where I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing. I am also a graduate of Jacksonville High School.
I have been a part of the Whitehouse community for 22 years . I worked at Trinity Mother Frances Hospital as a registered nurse for about 10 years before becoming a stay-home mom. I began my educational career at Whitehouse High School as a Special Education paraprofessional in 2008. I worked as a para for about 2 ½ years before earning my teaching certificate in Special Education and Mathematics. I am currently in my 9th year of teaching. I teach Algebra I Co-Teach, Geometry Co-Teach, Algebraic Reasoning Resource, and Algebra 2 Resource.
My husband and I celebrated our 25th Wedding Anniversary this past summer of 2019. I have two children; one in high school and one in college. I enjoy reading books, watching movies, and spending time with my family.
I have always loved math and science. I enjoy working with students and I enjoy teaching. I am very blessed and thankful to be a part of Whitehouse High School.
