About Me

Hi Y'all!

Let me introduce myself, my name is Ms. Longino.  I am a 2007 graduate of Texas A&M University - Kingsville with a Bachelor of Science - Agriculture and completed my Master's of Science - Agriculture in 2017.

I come from an extensive background in production for companies such as Tyson Foods, INC and JBS.  I am starting my 4th year at Whitehouse High School and have loved every minute of making East Texas my home.  My son, Tate, is in the 7th grade at Whitehouse Jr High School and he is an active participant in Jr FFA.  I have a beautiful 2 year old daughter named Adalyn who keeps me very young and if you are lucky you will see her running around the ag barn helping the big kids take care of their animal projects.

I am originally from Rockport, TX and still enjoy our small family ranch when I can get back to my hometown.  I thoroughly enjoy being outdoors and doing all activities ag related!  If I can be in the barn, it is a guarantee that is where you will find me.  Growing up I was an active member of my local 4-H club and showed cattle extensively through my school years.   I currently over see swine, steer, and poultry projects on campus.  I believe that kids are capable of building an extensive number of skills when showing animal projects.  Responsibility, dedication, hard-work, and manners are a few of the things your children will be reinforced with if they choose to show livestock projects.

I am also dedicated to running the greenhouse and we look forward to growing plants for the campus and for public purchase throughout the school year.  We currently have an aquaponics system that has been a great learning tool for the horticulture curriculum.  .

It is a pleasure to have a position with Whitehouse ISD that allows me to teach my passion and have the opportunity to be outdoors a large majority of the time.  I look forward to having your kids in my classroom and hope they gain an understanding and a small respect for what agriculture truly is.  I am always at your disposal, if you have any questions, please email me.  Let's all have a fantastic school year!
