About Mrs. Gray
I was born and raised in Longview, TX. I had the pleasure to attend Pine Tree schools from Kindergarten until graduating from Pine Tree High School. After high school, I attended Kilgore College to obtain my basics before transferring to UT-Tyler where I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics. I started teaching summer school in 2006 at Longview High School. My first Freshman class of Algebra 1 students have a special place in my heart. I was glad to stay at LHS until those students graduated HS. "Once a Lobo - always a Lobo". In 2010 my family moved to Tyler and my husband and I started teaching at Robert E Lee. During that time I started my Masters degree in School Counseling. After the birth of my daughter, I took a year off from teaching to finish my degree and be a stay at home mom. I then went back to teaching Math for two years at Chapel Hill High School. In 2016 I joined Whitehouse High School as a School Counselor. I have enjoyed my years at WHS.
I am married to Jonathan Gray and have 3 amazing children, Andrew (WHS Class of 2019), Caleb (Class of 2025) and Madison (Class of 2031). Outside of education I love my faith, family, photography, running, and watching football & baseball. In the past, I've competed in multiple 5Ks, the Tyler Rose Half and the Homemade Half marathons. I look forward to getting back to running again.
As a counselor I love getting to know my students and their aspirations for their future. I am very passionate about guiding students along their high school pathway and into their college or career choice.
