An SLP has a wide scope of practice, including screening, assessment and treatment of a variety of speech and language disorders in school-age children including:
  • Articulation
  • Receptive and expressive language
  • Fluency (stuttering)
  • AAC (Alternative and Augmentative Communication)
  • Social Communication
  • Voice
