¡Bienvenidos!

¡Bienvenidos!  Welcome! Thank you for stopping by my page.  I am Rob McMichael and will be teaching Spanish 2 and 3.  I am very excited about getting to know your student.  I began my teaching career in 1985 in at Navasota High School.  After two years, my wife and I relocated to Palestine, Texas where I taught (and coached tennis) another 11 years at Palestine High School.  In 1998 I decided to leave teaching and thought it would be a permanent decision; I spent 15 years as a financial advisor in Tyler, Texas.  In 2013 I decided to return to teaching--clearly, my decision in 1998 was not a "permanent" one.  I taught Spanish the last four years at Jacksonville High School.

I have taught Spanish 1, 2, 3, 3 Pre-AP, and 4.  I have made several international trips to Spain, Mexico, and Central America, as well as western Europe--I love to travel.

My wife also is a teacher and has taught choir at Whitehouse High School for the past 15 years.  We have been married for 32 years and have two grown sons.
