About Me

Professional Biography
Since the early age of 17, Ms. Romero has been involved in the education world. She began her passion for teaching by working with young children at a local day care and followed by enrolling in the Education Program at UT Tyler. While working towards her Bachelor's Degree, she was employed as a Bilingual Instructional Aide for Tyler ISD.  
Ms. Romero obtained her Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from UT Tyler after being a Bilingual Teacher for two years in Tyler, TX. Her desire to return to her hometown of Whitehouse, Tx was finally met when she was offered a position to teach 6th Grade Writing at Holloway Middle School.
Ms. Romero was born in a small city in Mexico and is fluent in Spanish. She enjoys any outdoor activities, traveling, and photography. When she is not teaching, she can be found with her family or working in ministry at church. Music has been an important part of her life, leading her to be involved in the worship ministry at church.
