Remote Instruction for WISD

Whitehouse ISD,

The City of Whitehouse is in the process of restoring water that will allow us to flush  toilets, wash hands, and have clean drinking water. Until the city’s water system is  able to handle the demand our schools will place on the system, we are moving to  Remote Instruction for all students, beginning tomorrow, Tuesday the 23rd. We are planning for remote instruction through the end of this week, Friday  the 26th.

Our plan is to return for face-to-face instruction on Monday the 1st of March.  Elementary school students, which is PreK - 5th grade) should expect to be contacted  by their teacher with specific instructions later this afternoon. Secondary students,  or grades 6 - 12, will be contacted by your campus principal with instructions to help  guide you. Remote instruction for Whitehouse ISD begins tomorrow, Tuesday the  23rd, and continues through Friday the 26th. You will receive more specific  instructions from your teacher or campus later this afternoon. Once you have  received that communication, if you have any questions specific to your student, I  will ask you to contact your student’s teacher or the campus principal for guidance.

Thank you for being adaptable and for helping support your student through this  week. It is truly a blessing to live and serve in Whitehouse ISD.

Take care and be well.

-Superintendent Dr. Christopher Moran
