We’re excited to welcome your family to our Whitehouse ISD Wildcat community. All student enrollment (Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade) takes place online through Skyward and can be completed on a computer, tablet, or smartphone.

  • Unique living situations include but are not limited to:

    • Families living with other families
    • Temporary living situations (i.e. in a shelter, home, motel, hotel for a temporary time)
    • Homelessness
    • Educational Guardianship 


    For students living in one of these situations, the student's parent and the person with whom the student is living must contact Scott McFadden and complete an Affidavit of Residency and/or the Authorization Agreement for Voluntary Adult Caregiver. The person with whom they live will be required to show proof of residency.

    Acceptable Proof of Residence: 
    In the name of the parent or guardian, or the resident of the district, we require:

    • Current gas, electricity or water bill or
    • Current Residential rental/lease agreement/tax statement (if owner of property)

    ***Lease information must not be more than 6 months old for annual lease or 30 days old for month to month lease.

    ***The student's parent and the person with whom the student is living must provide a copy of their photo ID. 

    Unacceptable Proof of Residence:

    • Mortgage statement
    • U.S. mail
    • Post office change of address
    • Credit card/bank statements
    • Personal taxes
    • Medical bills
    • Payroll checks
    • Auto insurance policy
    • Any proof older than 30 days

    *Presenting a false record or falsifying records is an offense under Section 37.10, Penal code, and enrollment of the child under false documents subjects the person to liability for tuition or other costs. TEC Sec. 25.002(3)(d).

     *Fraudulent enrollment of a student under false pretenses is an offense and crime under Texas law.

    STEP 1: SKYWARD USER ACCOUNT
    New to Whitehouse ISD? Create a create a Skyward Enrollment account here.
    Already have a student at Whitehouse ISD? Log in to Skyward Family Access.

    STEP 2: COMPLETE SKYWARD APPLICATION FORM
    You can only edit one section of the application at a time.  
    Please accurately fill in as much information prior to submitting the application.
    Fields with a red asterisk (*) are required.
    Each step must be marked complete before submitting the application.
     
    Please read the orange buttons in each step carefully
    Top of step: Save the section and return to edit at a different time
    Bottom of step: Complete Only or Complete and move to next section
     
    At any point during the application you can save your progress by:
    Click 'Save and Continue to Fill Out Application' to save your progress and stay on the current screen.
    Click 'Save and go to Summary Page' to save your progress and return to the summary page.
    Click 'Leave WITHOUT Saving' to return to the summary page without saving.

    STEP 3: PREPARE REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
    Please attach any documents that are available.  This will expedite the enrollment process. 
    Use the ‘Choose File’ buttons to locate a file to upload that corresponds to the description on the same line.
     
    Documents cannot be attached after submitting the application. Please attach any documents you can provide before completing this section or save the application and return to attach needed documents prior to submitting the application.

    • Required Documents:
      • Birth Certificate
      • Immunization Record
      • CURRENT Utility Bill (Electric, Gas, or Water only)
      • OR
      • Rental/Lease Agreement (with all residents listed) OR property tax statement
      • Parent ID (i.e. Driver's license or State ID)
    • Required Documents, if Applicable:
      • Health Plan Documents (for those students with health conditions such as asthma, seizures, diabetes, etc.)
      • Special Program Documents (i.e. Special Education, 504, dyslexia, gifted and talented, speech therapy, etc.)
      • Most recent custody documents, divorce decree or other legal documents related to the child, if applicable
      • Previous Report Card (for those enrolling in grades 1 -12)
      • Withdrawal form from the most recent school, if the school year has started


    STEP 4: DOCUMENT UPLOAD

    How to Scan Documents from Your Phone:
    iPhone

    • Open Notes and add a note → Tap the camera button → Choose Scan Documents → Hover over the document(s) to scan
    • Click save in bottom right corner when done scanning.  
    • Click “share” button in top right corner then select ‘Save to Files’
    • Repeat this process for each item listed below

    Android

    • Open the Google Drive app → In the bottom right, tap Add → Tap Scan → Take a photo of the document you'd like to scan. Adjust scan area: Tap Crop.  Take photo again: tap re-scan current page.  Scan another page: tap Add
    • To save the finished document, tap Done
       
  • Verification for returning students opens annually June 1st

    Returning WISD students should verify their information via Family Access.

    Guardian Info 
    Please ensure that all parent/guardian information is up to date, including a valid email and phone number. Guardian details in Skyward sync with ParentSquare, our district’s school-to-home communication and emergency alert system. Only individuals listed as Guardians in Skyward will have access to ParentSquare accounts.

    Existing WISD Families Enrolling a New Student
    Existing families who need to enroll a new student (kindergarten for example) will need to complete the new student application for that student. Please see instructions under the New Student Enrollment Process 4 Steps .

    Please contact your child's campus with any questions you may have. 

    **New Student Online Enrollment and Annual Verification currently work best on a computer with Google Chrome, Edge, Safari or Firefox browsers. Most mobile device browsers will not work.

  • Pre-k and Kindergarten enrollment for the 2026-2027 school year starts April 1. All Pre K & Kinder registrants must have an in person registration at the Admin Building campus BEFORE eligibility can be approved.
