Board Notes | September 9, 2025
Superintendent's Message This time of year is always busy across Whitehouse ISD, and it’s also one of the most rewarding. Our students are performing, competing, and achieving in so many ways, and it’s inspiring to see the community come together to support them. That’s what makes Whitehouse so special, the strong partnership between our schools and our families.
We are grateful for everyone who plays a part in our success, from teachers and staff, to parents, to community members who cheer us on. Together, we continue to make Whitehouse ISD a place where students succeed.

A. Teacher Highlight: Our 8th-grade English teachers - Mrs. Solomon, Mrs. Taush, and Mrs. Qureshi - shared the many ways they connect with students in the classroom. By using visuals, hands-on activities, and reinforcement techniques, they encourage students to grow as thinkers and become lifelong readers.
B. Accountability Update Dr. Taylor shared insight into Whitehouse ISD’s 2025 accountability rating and how the district adapted to the new state metrics, resulting in recognition as a TEA “A” rated district. Out of 43 possible distinctions, Whitehouse campuses achieved 31 distinctions, a strong accomplishment that also highlights areas for continued growth. D. Athletic Update Coach Newton shared that the state of Athletics in Whitehouse ISD is strong. From summer camps for elementary students to our varsity programs, we are intentionally building a culture that starts early and carries through high school, and in many cases, beyond, as Wildcats continue their athletic dreams at the next level.
There’s a lot to look forward to, including the unveiling of our new Mahomes uniforms, highlighted during the induction of Whitehouse ISD graduate Patrick Mahomes into the Texas High School Football Hall of Fame.
